Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge

Step up for a cause! Join us hiking the Yorkshire Three Peaks to support A+
The Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge is a 38.6 km (24 mile) round trip route, with a staggering 1,585 m of ascent. Taking place on the peaks of Pen-y-Ghent (694 m), Whernside (736 m) and Ingleborough (723 m).
We will be offering either an ambitious 12-hour challenge or a gentler pace over two days, supported by A+ instructors and mountain leaders, in this scenic area of breathtaking beauty in the Yorkshire Dales National Park.

Route
This is a 38.6km circular route in the Yorkshire Dales National Park summiting Pen-y-Ghent, Whernside, and Ingleborough, part of the Pennine range in the beautiful north of England.
We are offering a 12-hour option (which is how the challenge is typically done) or the option to spread the route over 2 days.
Each group will be led by qualified Mountain Leaders, so you can join regardless of your navigational ability.
Accommodation
The campsite we are staying at is Philpin Farm, which is conveniently located en route. We want to ask participants to make the booking and make the payment themselves directly with the campsite. Please make it clear that you are with Adventure Plus as they are aware we are using the campsite as a base for this challenge.
We will be staying here for 2 nights on 30th and 31st May. The cost is £10 per person per night. Emailing is the best way to book.

If you would not like to camp, you are welcome to arrange alternative accommodation. We will send out details of a meeting point and time for all participants in due course.
Food and Transport
You will be responsible for your own food and travel for the weekend. Participants will need to to make their own way to the Yorkshire Dales where possible. If you are local to Adventure Plus and happy to contribute to fuel we may have space in the minibus being used by A+ staff but this will only be confirmed closer to the time.
Equipment hire
We know that not everyone will have suitable equipment to camp, and we would not want this to hinder you from joining. If you are camping and would like to hire camping equipment from Adventure Plus the prices are as follows:

Sponsorship
This fundraising event is a great opportunity to spread the word about what Adventure Plus does and get your friends and family involved.
The fundraising target is £400 per person.
